Being an African American growing up in Southern America was not peaches and cream. It may have been the land of dreams for some, but not all. However, I am grateful that in spite of the fact that the door of opportunity was not completely opened to people of color, some still managed to squeeze through, opening it a little wider so others could follow in their footsteps. After many years of praying, struggling, marching, and singing “We shall overcome someday” and the Negro National Anthem: “Lift every voice and sing, till earth and heaven ring Ring with the harmonies of liberty; Let our rejoicing rise high as the listening skies; let it resound loud as the rolling sea, Sing a song full of the faith that the dark past has taught us, Sing a song full of the hope that the present has brought us, Facing the rising sun of our new day begun, Let us march on till victory is won.” ( etc.) This has been an ongoing journey towards Equality and Justice for ALL. So how can I sit back and watch America continue to crumble into tiny pieces? Have you ever felt, so mind blown to the point where you become inspired to bring forth disturbing realities without a hint of fear? Join hands with me as I enlighten you about the hidden enemy’s agenda regarding the destruction of America’s democracy and the possibility of it becoming a dictatorship. The enemy’s goal is to eradicate America and become the most powerful nation in the world. But if people like you and I gather our forces and take a stand, we will be able to protect our homeland.
